We went on a good run without Nolan and Carroll, for the first time in many years we have options. I like it, that we have options. There are a lot of games coming up and to have experience and talent will see us through the Xmas period.
I haven't been this excited about West Hams prospects for as long as I can remember.

Can't tackle for shit so shouldn't be in midfield. His strength is his calmness in the box and finishing. I think we've got enough in our squad to leave him out on that basis.

i thought he was our best player against wba and had a decent game yesterday. Whilst hes playing like he is, he deserves a starting place. Playing deeper actually suits him and i dont see any reason why noble should walk straight back into the team.

The likes of WBA, Leicester and Burnley are games where Nolan won't look too out of place in...
However, most opposition he'll struggle against...

Nearly scored in the first half but was disciplined most of the match without being spectacular.
He is really a squad player now but still useful at nicking you the odd goal from set plays as he has a knack of getting in the right place for a tap in.
Don't know why people persist in bashing. We've won the last couple of games he's played in and he wasn't at fault for the goals we conceded.

People round me started moaning about him not getting forward until I pointed out he's allowing Song to push forward. Fans just trying to find fault. Although I would drop him when Noble fit.

Suprised by that stat about him running, always seems to be puffing out of his backside in comparison with other players.
Also suprised, seeing as he was on the piss wednesday night with shandy andy in chelsea and almost hit by a bus.
SCENES
Has played a bit better the last two games but similar to noble offers very little in comparison with other players on the squad. imo

I don't think it's a thread putting down Nolan but asking the question "What to do with Nolan?"
It's not a put down but just a general question. And i think it is a very valid one. What do we do? But, as I said, just people discussing the options and what they see his role is now that he is not first team guaranteed.

But he's a West Ham player, so I'd always want him to do well for us even if he is a grade A prick off the field. (which he is)
